FILIP DVOŘÁK
Filip is a researcher and leading expert on artificial intelligence in the Czech Republic. He has previously worked as a researcher and developer for companies in Silicon Valley, such as Google and Microsoft. Later, he was involved in a number of AI-focused startups in the San Francisco Bay Area. The last of these, where he led AI development, Oqton, was bought out by 3D Systems for CZK 4.2 billion. After earning two PhDs from the MFF UK, he conducted research and taught at the University of Toronto, from where he was driven by the bitter cold to sunny California, where he was the first Czech to hold a research position at the Palo Alto Research Center. Here he was involved in research on the optimization of Los Angeles' transportation infrastructure and security research projects under the US government's Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). In September 2022, he co-founded Filuta AI, a startup focused on intelligent automation using composite artificial intelligence.
